Tigers and Happy Birthdays...

It must be the year's best month...October!
The last two weeks have just about drained us! We were prepared for the usual stress that inevitably accompanies mid-terms...even when they coincided with my Army drill. In case Henry came early, we bought a mini-Mizzou mascot costume. What we were not prepared for was the drunk driver who plowed through a fence and used our parked truck to stop his (very large) truck. It held its own pretty well but the Tacoma was moved about 6 feet and the front tires pointed in opposite directions after all was said and done. Luckily, it was off to the body shop and we were in a rental before Helena's birthday. Helena takes her last mid-term today and we should be able to pick up our truck tomorrow so the end is in sight. I did try my hand at cake baking (the cake she made me looks soooo much better doesn't it?) but the mini-shopping spree was probably the most exciting birthday activity. 31 Weeks

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBY!!!!!

Yesterday was one of the very best days of the year--Bobby's BIRTHDAY!!! We both had school in the morning, but were free in the afternoon to celebrate! Bobby's brother Willy and his wife Bethany came over for cake, games, and a movie--which was a lot of fun :)

Most of all though, I just want to say how much I love Bobby--he is so unimaginably wonderful. I am so incredibly grateful for his coming into the world, because he makes mine so much better. He is one of the very best people I have ever met and I will forever be indebted to the Lord for blessing me with such an exquisite gift--Bobby. Thank you Bobby for everything you do and are--you are so amazing to me. I love you!!!

Some of Bobby's new presents included a new Mossberg shotgun, ammo, clay pigeons, and a pigeon thrower--we're so excited to go out and use them!
