Jefferson's First Bath

Here is little Jefferson taking his first bath at home! He is such a great baby and continues to be so easy going. We can't wait for him to meet the rest of the family!

Henry's YUMMY treat!

1 week later...

We're all a little sleepy...

but we're still here! We'll post more pictures soon--in the mean time, here is one of Henry watching Little Bear with Jefferson. Henry LOVES his baby brother and can't stop giving him kisses, hugs, and encouragement when he cries. I have two of the sweetest little babies! We love them!
PS--My recovery is going extremely well--most of the time I don't even feel like I had a baby--a complete 180 from what I went through with Henry. I am SO grateful though that I did have a harder time with Henry so that I could truly appreciate the ease of my recovery this time around. I have to say, I felt better 3 days post partum with Jefferson than I did 4 weeks post partum with Henry. Like I said--blessed.

Thomas Jefferson Zenk:

7 lbs. 4 oz.

18.5 in.

Born within 4 minutes of water breaking--NO pushing at all! In fact, the in-house doctor didn't even have time to run to the room, so the head nurse delivered my baby! The nurse who tended me the whole time before delivery was actually the same nurse who helped with Henry's birth (nice reunion!) and the nurse who took care of me after the birth turned out to be my nextdoor neighbor my freshman year of college! Crazy!

Jefferson is so cute and seems SO EASY compared to running after a toddler! He hasn't cried much at all today and has been sleeping like a champ :) In the last picture you can see that he's even sleeping through his first bath.

Having a new little baby is going to be fun, and I know Henry will love having a new playmate :) Welcome home Jefferson! We love you!
